A Family-Owned BBQ Catering Business Born from a Texas Road Trip
Smoke & Timber started with two brothers and their wives who visited Texas in 2017, fell in love with the bold flavours of slow-smoked BBQ, came home, bought a smoker, and quickly outgrew it. Smoke and Timber What began as cooking for family and friends has grown into a full-service catering company serving events across Barrie, Simcoe County, Muskoka, and beyond — offering everything from intimate drop-off packages to on-site cooking experiences with a custom-built smoker. Everything is smoked low and slow, the old-fashioned way, and that's the whole point.

Giving a Passion Project the Brand Presence It Earned
Smoke & Timber had a clear voice, a great product, and a growing reputation — they needed a website that could carry all of that into a first impression. The work focused on building something warm, appetizing, and easy to act on: organizing catering packages and menu options in a way that helps couples, event planners, and hosts quickly understand what's possible, writing copy that captures the personality of a family business without losing the credibility of a professional one, and designing an experience that makes every visitor feel hungry before they even scroll.
